To drive using CAR, one must have a valid driver's license, the state minimum insurance and have a satisfactory background check. There is a $99 annual fee that covers a background check, the biannual insurance verification, administrative assistance, and technical support as you operate your transportation service.

 

To generate income using CAR you will need to create a ride by inputting your travel itinerary, which includes the origin and destination, date and time you plan on leaving, the number of seats or cargo space available and then set your price.

 

Once a rider decides that your created ride can accommodate their transportation need, they will make a request. You are then alerted and can follow the prompts to establish an agreement. Details about the pick-up and drop-off can be sorted through the message portal or a phone call. You will be able to view a rider's profile, rating and number of successful rides to help you better choose passengers or deliveries.

 

As a driver, you will profit 80% of the agreed upon fare, which will be added to your digital wallet as you determine.

 

After each trip, you will have the opportunity to rate the rider and the rider will also have the opportunity to rate you.
